Meet Chus Cartes, founder of ILA™ — pioneering regenerative leadership at the root.
From Outer Noise to Inner Silence
I was born in Barcelona and built a career directing communications and PR for global brands — from Pirelli to Swarovski, from Revlon to leaders in fashion, beauty, and entertainment. My work expanded into collaborations with international figures such as Naomi Campbell and Penélope Cruz, shaping campaigns at the crossroads of culture and influence.
Later, I founded a fashion accessories brand, stepping into the dual role of designer and CEO. For more than half a decade, I carried its vision across continents — dressing global icons like Rita Ora and Pharrell Williams, forging partnerships with leading industries, and sustaining commercial teams in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East.
At the height of visibility, I met the deepest void. I released everything I thought defined me — marriage, family, career, financial security — and stepped away from conventional life for three years. Between the childhood room at my mother’s home and an ashram in southern Portugal, silence became my teacher. In that stillness, one word surfaced: regenerate. There I began to sense the invisible architectures from which decisions, presence, and culture arise.

ILA™ — Internal Leadership Architecture — is a living system that reorganizes at the root rather than adding more. It integrates emotional, energetic, strategic, and operational layers to make leadership fertile, regenerative, and thriving.
My work today focuses primarily on women leaders, executive teams, and organizations led by women — where regenerative leadership becomes both cultural force and systemic strategy.
Leaders: truthful decisions under complexity.
Boards and teams: alignment without groupthink.
Organizations: regenerative structures that prevent burnout and sustain growth.
Trusted by decision-makers across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
